Today BioRails 5.8 was made available to licensed customers. This release provides a major enhancement to our inventory and ordering offering, with the addition of material registration. This means BioRails can be used to register any type of chemical or biological material including compounds, mABs, cell lines, and biospecimens. These are then immediately available to all other BioRails modules such as service requesting, inventory, ordering and testing. This expands BioRails reach into many Biopharmaceutical workflows. We have also integrated BioRails with external biological research tools like Benchling as a source for samples.
Andrew Lemon, CEO said, “This marks a significant step forward enabling us to bring the same quality data management and workflow software to a whole new audience. We have been lucky enough to work in some great customer partnerships to achieve this release, and look forward to bringing this to many more companies.”
