In vivo

Designed for In Vivo

BioRails is flexible enough to address the needs of researchers conducting in vivo studies.

A study

Phases

Studies are run as mini-projects with an objective, owner and plan. A number of tasks are conducted during the life cycle of the study in a number of phases.

Initiation

  • Studies are requested and tracked by project leaders
  • Requests are reviewed by research groups and accepted
  • Studies are registered with objectives, and access controlled

Review

  • Add content such as papers and existing work to a review folder
  • Add study plan based on templated content

Organisation

  • Select or define processes that will be executed during experiments within the study
  • Associate key compounds or other effectors such as biologics
  • Plan and schedule experiments

Execution

  • Capture structured data,  Analyse results,  Submit samples for follow-up analysis
  • Run analytical queries over the data
  • Export data for 'external' analysis and upload results

Reporting

  • Write study reports using exisiting data adding discussions and conclusions of the study
  • Sign and request witness of the report
  • Export the report as PDF/MS Word

Study data can be captured, analysed and reported using the unique flexible environment of Morphit.
