We are looking for  a systems programmer to join our small team.

For all applicants we expect the following: 

At least 12 months experience with Ruby on Rails or Java

• General programming and scripting experience  
• Good OOP knowledge  
• Comfortable with Linux/Unix 
• An eye for detail  
• Experience or keen to use agile methodologies
• Systems integration experience

The following would be advantageous: 

• Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience  
• Experience in other programming languages particularly Java
• Experience of creating and using web services
• Knowledge and interest in science
