Junior Ruby on Rails Developer

We have an opening for a full-time junior Ruby on Rails developer to work as part of a team on our flagship product BioRails. The position is available immediately, working from our office in Guildford, Surrey. Renumeration will be in the range of £22-35k, based on experience.

Role

The role is to provide product support including fixing bugs, implementing enhancements and the development of new application plug-ins.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in computer science
• One or two years Ruby on Rails experience including TDD (Test Driven Development).
• A finisher, interested in user interface design and implementation, someone prepared to go the extra mile to ensure simplicity and consistency.

Product & Company Details

BioRails is a data management application used to support drug discovery research. Our customers include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from Europe and the US. The Edge is a privately held company based in Guildford, Surrey UK. It was founded in 2005 and currently has around ten employees and growing.
