We're expanding our customer team and we are looking for a field application scientist. You should have either a good degree and 12 months research experience or a PhD in a related discipline such as

• Pharmacology
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Biochemistry
• Other biological disciplines considered

Ideally you'll have the following experience

• an understanding of pharmaceutical research
• experience of informatics software in a research environment
• knowledge of biological data management systems

You will need and will develop to the following skills

• Excel template building to process biological data
• Morphit template building to process biological data
• Business analysis including UML
• Biostatistics

Foreign languages such as French, German and Spanish are an advantage but not essential.

Your job will be to demonstrate and implement our software to our prospects and clients. These are leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies from across the globe.  The role requires you to

• talk to scientists involved in research and development, understanding their work
• quickly create credible demonstrations which address their needs in BioRails, Excel and Morphit
• present at meetings and in front of customers
• contribute to the sales process
• specify changes required by the customer
• deliver and implement the solution on the customer site
• create and deliver training
• feedback requirements to development
