News - Modelling preclinical research

The Edge is launching a series of initiatives to address the needs of biologists across discovery research environments. Traditional solutions in this area have been limited to routine testing because they require high levels of expensive IT resource to maintain and  deploy into less routine testing areas. This leaves the majority of scientists in preclinical research unsupported by data management software. In a new paper "Modelling Preclinical Research", we discuss a modelling approach to the problem of managing change in studies.

The data management needs of the majority of biologists working in preclinical research have been completely ignored over the past 15 years... We are actively working on a number of initiatives which will address the unmet needs of biologists working in the therapeutic research areas.
